Eureka! I'm stupid.
Yes, it's true... all the time I spent worrying over zero page
usage and the like turns out to have been for nought... in a typically
boneheaded move, I managed to get the Assembly part right and bugger up
the Basic. I should have known... it's not the first time I've made such
a blunder.
Anyway, the bottom line is that combining this "revelation" with my
newfound expertise with "sparse files" (Google it), I stand a very good
chance of finishing at least one project by the end of the RC. Yay!
