Random Bytes

In the course of debugging the album-on-a-floppy project something slightly disconcerting has come to light: whenever I screwed up and ended up using some random binary file instead of one of my carefully wrought compositions, the results were invariably more interesting and dynamic... this has prompted me to make a conceptual u-turn. Rather than attempt to write music, I'm going to use the data from the audio samples as the basis for the score. I'll still have to assign samples and set the tempo for each piece, but I'll be selecting the music rather than composing it.
