One down...
It may have cost me my home, my marriage and my sanity, but I've finished RetroChallenge 2007 Project no. 1: The album-on-a-floppy!!!
11 tracks which come in around 35 minutes total (depending on your disk I/O speed). It's actually a lot different from what I'd planned to do, but that seems to be par for the course. It's worth noting that I neglected to include any way to navigate between tracks, so you're pretty much stuck with listening to whole thing at once... (yes, I'm a bit of a Sadist ;-)
Masochistic Apple II users can dowload the "album" as a disk image or ShrinkIt disk archive. So far I've tried it on a ][+, a IIgs and Virtual ][ in OS X... in my humble opinion it sounds quite good on the authentic hardware, but essentially horrible in the emulator. Your mileage may definitely vary.
