Posterity
Spent my precious few free moments this evening making a recording of MICRO.MUSIC, and I'm currently in the process of uploading it to The Internet Archive. When it goes live, the url will be http://www.archive.org/details/MICRO.MUSIC.
I used my Bell & Howell ][+ for playback and ran the output directly into the line-in on my eMac. I chose the B&H because the "A/V backpack" provides a convenient audio out with volume control. It also has a much warmer sound than any of my other Apple II's. When you're dealing with 5-bit 11 KHz audio, hi-fi can be detrimental -- the B&H has a fairly poor high frequency response which tends to mercifully filter out a good deal of the noise inherent in lo-fi digital audio.
