Mid-point of the RetroChallenge, and things are looking decidedly bleak.
My Drumulator project hasn't even got off the ground yet... I need to build the requisite interface cable, but so far haven't had an opportunity to do so (I'm not good at soldering, so I need a fairly large window for this).
The RT.Synth voice project has so far proved fruitless. Perhaps that should have been foreseeable, as I'm working with undocumented software and have only a rudimentary grasp of the underlying concepts. At this point I'll be happy to make a voice file that doesn't crash the program into the monitor, regardless of what it sounds like.
The most promising thing so far is my "side project" which started out as a simple directory selector and has evolved into an excercise in good programming habits... not that I'm developing any good habits, but I am becoming more aware of what they might entail ;-)
