Hi all! We had a very encouraging building session for Seymour Green's
straw bale shed this past weekend. We're more than half way complete. We
need as much energy (hands and feet) as possible to finish it off. Our
goal is to complete it by this Sunday (August 19th). Building will be
ongoing this week with scheduled times on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (10am
- 6pm). Please come out and learn some new skills, make some new friends,
play in some mud!!
Also, our architect, Chris Holmes who has been spearheading this project
will be leaving town on Wednesday of this week. He has left us very well
prepared to complete the project but anyone with technical/carpentry skills
(even minimal) would be greatly appreciated. PLEASE rack your brains to see
if you can think of someone in this category who would be willing to donate
a few hours, as Ben Sichel, who will be leading the co-ordination of the
building effort once Chris leaves, warns that he is not what you'd call
"handy."
