In Puccini's beautiful opera La Boheme, Musetta's shawl is a study in flirtation.
It is worked from the long bottom edge to the top edge in a panelled lace pattern. The ruffles, bordering each side, mimic and resolve the main pattern.
Shown in Fleece Artist Woolie Silk 3-Ply (65% wool, 35% silk), colour: "straw".
