Adding and dropping initials, correcting spelling etc.: Send email to office@chebucto.ns.ca from the account in which you want this information changed giving the new information.

Changing Your Legal Name

We must have a bonafide name, not an alias or nickname linked to your account. You should first go about changing your legal name and obtain the appropriate new identification. Hint, first the courts (marriage certificate, etc), then the government departments (registry of motor vehicles, etc) then financial institutions, then work places... then Chebucto. Mail into Chebucto a photocopy of your new identity papers, a signed user agreement, your existing account and a brief explanation of the name change. A system administrator will update the entry associated with your username.
