NOBEL PRIZE (ECONOMICS) 2012
The Nobel prize in Economic Sciences 2012
was awarded jointly to
Alvin E. Roth (Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA, Harvard Business School, Boston, MA, USA),
and Lloyd S Shapley (University of California, Los Angeles, CA, USA)
"for the theory of stable allocations and the practice of market design".
Selection of the Economics Prize is conducted in the month of October, with the annoucement made no later than 15 November, in any given year.
