ISSS Wholeness Seminar
http://www.newciv.org/ISSS_Primer/seminar.html

A Special Integration Group (SIG) of the International Society for the Systems Sciences(ISSS) originally SGSR, Society for General Systems Research. and  [IISII] International Institute  for Systemic Inquiry And Integration presents The First International Electronic Seminar On Wholeness December 1, 1996 to December 31, 1997. This visually striking Webster offers over 50 papers of a theoretical nature addressing wholeness and what it means. Many of these express wholeness with reference to different facets of systemic theory, philosophy and practice while some come from a wisdom perspective and others from a holisticperspective, all very similar and related perspectives.

Principia Cybernetica Project (PCP), an international organization has decided to build an evolutionary-systemic world view, which starts from the different concepts and principles developed in cybernetics, systems theory and the theory of evolution. This website along with the IISII "Wholeness Seminar" and the ISSS Primer offer the viewer/learner a very thorough introduction to the field of systemics and the related  field of cybernetics. One resource is sited from this major website which offers insights into an important concept in evolutionary systems theory- it is that of  World View : From Fragmentation to Integration:  http://pespmc1.vub.ac.be/CLEA/reports/WorldviewsBook.html

The International Systems Institute is a non-profit, public benefit, scientific and educational agency. Organized as a community of scholars and practitioners and a network of institutions, ISI aims to apply systems and design thinking: 1. to create models and methods for the design of educational and other human activity systems and  2. to design and develop resources for systems and design learning. Futures Web Sites
http://ag.arizona.edu/futures/fut/futweb.html

There are a variety of sites that could be considered "futures oriented". Here are a few examples. There are many more that are designed for a certain purpose, but have "futures" material within the subject. There are a few others that are specific organizations or commissions. Some examples include the Millenium Institute, The 2050 Project (sustainability),  Project 2000, and The World Future Society. Probably one of the most useful of all the websites listed here is that of the World Future Society.

World Futures Society
http://www.tmn.com/wfs/index.htm

With  30,000 members, the Society serves as a nonpartisan  clearinghouse for ideas about the future, including forecasts,  recommendations, scenarios, alternatives, and more. Founded in 1966, the Society publishes The Futurist, a bimonthly journal of forecasts, trends, and ideas about the  future; Futures Research Quarterly, a scholarly journal for the professional futurist; and Future Survey, a monthly digest abstracting scores of future-oriented books, articles, and reports. The Society has also published over two dozen books on the future. The Society has held eight General Assemblies--meetings of futurists from around the world--and a number of specialized conferences, including "Business & The Future" and "The Global Economy." The next Society meeting is in Chicago, Illinois, July 19-21, 1998. See References for more.
