Welcome to Denise's Glassware Page

My husband purchased a few goblets and wineglasses in the late 60’s. After many moves, we were looking to find replacements for the ones that were chipped or broken.

Searches for any information on “Corn Flower Glassware” left us very frustrated. The only information we were able to find was that they were no longer in production and that they came from Ontario.

Our luck changed when we moved to Nova Scotia. On our first visit to an antique’s fair we found our first plate. This dealer also told us of the many items available in different glass patterns.

Later I became an Ebay searcher and buyer. Since then I have also met some very nice fellow collectors.

Our collection has grown to have quite a few pieces and we would like to share it with others searching for information.

There are now several books in print that have listed “Corn Flower”.

The Dufferin Museum has an exceptional collection of Corn Flower Glassware by W.J.Hughes. The Dufferin County Museum & Archives Corn Flower Collectors Club publish a newsletter for their members.
