Dear All, July 1, 2007
The first blossom opened on our Snow Peas yesterday (plants about
belt high) and a deer walked along one of the rows last night having a
feed of pea vine greens. Why rough it in the woods when you can take a
tour of gardens & flower beds ?
I went to North Alton this afternoon to mow some more and took two
apples in my pack. I left my pack on the ground with one flap
unfastened. When I decided it was time for an apple break, about an hour
later, I found the pack flopped over, one apple on the ground with no
teeth marks and the other apple missing. Another deer I expect.
