here are some of the birds we found today in shelburne and yarmouth counties to start the winter listers .
 
 great egret    
  tern species barrington bay
  snowy owl
   eurasian widgeon
   american widgeon
   green wing teal
   
shoerbirds   ruddyturnstone      sanderling    kildeer
  black belly plover       dunlin

  sparrows   white crowned sparrow     fox sparrows 2
chipping sparrow   american tree sparrow
  white throat sparrow   
 others northern shrike    northern mockingbird
  northern gannet     
  
 horned grebe    red necked grebe
    common loon    and the usual common birds 
 
the wind here at times hit 100 km per hour.
