Hello all,
=20
I hope this subject is within what is accepted in both these lists, my appo=
logies if it is not. Acadia University is in need of bird specimens. With=
our new facilities being completed as we speak, there will be a brand new =
state of the art collections room that will house the Acadia collection, ho=
pefully as of this spring. I would like to be able to enhance the collecti=
on over the next couple years with some new specimens of birds we do not ha=
ve good series of or we are lacking completely. Acadia has a salvage permi=
t, so we can obtain birds legally, but cannot actively collect them. Below=
is a list of birds we are interested in and then some that we definitely d=
o not want. If you have any of the birds on our "want" list we would be de=
lighted to have them. If you have birds that are not on either list could =
you e-mail me with a list of what you do have that would be wonderfull, and=
I'll get back in touch with you if we are interested in any of them. You =
can contact me at nebulosa200ATgmail.com with any questions or if you have=
birds stored away in the freezer that we may be interested in.
=20
Here is our "wanted" list (many of these species are unlikely as window or =
road kills, but it's worth a try!), birds in bold are those for which we ha=
ve no specimens of, the rest are ones of which we either have very poor or =
very few specimens:

nts for pickup.
