Yesterday (June 1) there was a banded Song Sparrow
amongst the regular feeder birds. It was moving around
a lot and was very uncooperative, so I was unable to
read the band number. I took a couple of photos, but
they are only enough to show that the bird is banded.
There are a few cedar waxwings around on the apple
trees, and there are many Red-eyed Vireos around.
The lilac has just started to bloom, and today there
was a somewhat tattered Mourning Cloak on it.
