Hi fellow birders I have about 35 Canada Geese hanging out in my cove, no fluffy chicks anymore. I was wondering if these smaller-than-normal birds with mature plumage are the chicks of a month ago. How long does it take for the chicks to lose their downy feathers and grow in the new adult plumage? Also have RB Merg with 6 chicks last week and a pair of Pine Siskins visiting the feeders. Lynn
