Hi, Liz.
It seems that you were the only one to see this Ruff. Can you provide any details of plumage, age? Was the location in Three Fathom Harbour (e.g. Shorebird Cove or Terminal Beach) or Lower Three Fathom Harbour (Dottie's Pond)?
Thanks for any info you can provide.
Susann

Fog does bring shorebirds down to the ground! Birds worth mentioning were: .
1 Killdeer - Three Fathom Harbour
1 Ruff - Three Fathom Harbour
1 White rumped sandpiper - Rainbow Haven Beach
5 Hudsonian Godwits - Lawrencetown
Hundreds of dowitchers, yellowlegs, semi- sandpipers, semi plovers, least sandpipers, and willets were everywhere in the Eastern shore.
Cheers, liz
