Hi, Murray.
The person to report banded shorebirds to is Cheri Gratto-Trevor at the Canadian Wildlife Service. Her email is:
cheri.gratto-trevor@ec.gc.ca
She will forward the info on to the contact person in the country of banding, who will provide you with details on when and where it was banded. It would help to be able to tell her whether one of these green bands was a "flag" - a larger piece of plastic about 5mm or 1/4" wide that is wrapped around the leg and is highly visible. Also whether the green bands were dark green (indicates a bird banded in the United States) or light green (banded in Suriname).
All the best,
Susann Myers
