This aft I  took a walk down in eastern passage and at 3:00 pm we a brief
15- 20 min burst of sunshine . In that window of sunshine & warmth the
following was produced and seen. The real neat occurrence was stumbling upon
a feeding swarm of dragonflies which included many 

Anax junius (m& f) which by far outnumbered the other species present which
also included

Aeshna interrupta

Ae. umbrosa

Somatochlora walshii

Pantala flavescens

Other odes seen but not in the swarm were:

Ae. verticalis

Ae. canandensis

Sympetrum semicinctum

Sy. vicinium

 

Noteworthy leps "

2 Monarchs

Painted lady 

Clouded Sulphur (many) 

Incl white form female

Orange/Alfalfa Sulphur
