HI all:
=20
I forgot to mention that on my outing to Amherst Point Bird Sanctuary there=
was a dowitcher=2C which had all of the characteristics of a long-billed d=
owitcher. It was a lone bird=2C and it does not make sense=2C but appeared=
to be a juvenile bird. It had a gray breast dull overall and tertials gra=
yish with narrow rusty edges. Does a second year bird for this species sti=
ll have juvenile plumage?
