Hi Gary & Angus - u piqued my curiousity about the ode. I concur it is a
female ,but , it could be a Sprintgime Darner aka Basiaeschna janata from
viewing the 2 pale yellow to ivory color lateral thoracic stripes which
are narrow & straight .
