I made a run to Oxner's Beach this evening and didn't catch the tide quite =
right for the shorebirds. I saw only 19 black-bellied plovers. Birds were=
on the move everywhere though. I watched a pine siskin chasing after a mo=
th and watched four yellow warblers within a few inches of one another.=20

A trip to Conrads Island at Lower Rose Bay was magical. It is that time of=
year when you can find different birds from day to day and the change in b=
ird life since my last visit was amazing. =20

In Bayport this morning I went to retrieve my minnow trap from a marsh area=
and 30 least sandpipers raised up. =20
