I finally managed to see the illusive pied-billed grebe which has been at B=
ack Centre for a month the other day.  There also are a number of wood duck=
s that have been tending there.

Today after work I went to Corkum's Island to see if I could locate the loc=
ation where the yellow-crowned night herons had been.  I did not find them.=
  There was a nice grouping of about 65 yellow-rumped warblers there though=
