This morning, Friday September 18th, I am basically resending a message =
that I initially posted on Sunday September 13th in the hopes that it =
will appear on NATURENS this time:

HI all

I have uploaded about 38 photos to SMUGMUG , some of which are from =
family and they are named when that is the case. A lot of the pics are =
from several visits to Cape Breton. One of the highlights I wish was in =
this gallery was the Lynx that happened into my brothers front yard ever =
so briefly for which several of us viewed (but didn't get to photograph) =
through the livingroom window. My sister-in-law was able to find tracks =
from the animal after the fact and sent them to me, which seemed to =
confirm it as a Lynx and not a Bobcat when comparing them in an animal =
track guide. One trip was disappointing, which was from seeing a dead =
Eagle on the shoreline that didn't reach adulthood. There was no obvious =
sign of the cause, but at least if this past week is any indication, the =
eagle population seems to be doing well there. I viewed 6 different =
Eagles, 4 of which were adults, and the most I had ever viewed there at =
any given time. They were taking turns feeding on what appeared to be =
discarded food items on the shoreline, and it had attracted a variety of =
Ravens and Crows, and even some occasionaly rather foolhardy gulls.

Here is the first of the photos, starting at # 262 and ending at # 299 :
