We saw just one Horned Lark beside the Grand Pre Road yesterday afternoon. Also noted several small groups of sparrows, mostly Savannahs I believe, working along the gravel shoulders. The Northern Mockingbird at the end of this road could not be found but there was one in amongst the holly berries at the Wolfville Wharf. It perched at the top of the Sumac bushes for a short period so we got a good look but no pictures.
As Jim Wolford mentioned, it was a good day for eagles, and at least 8 Red-tailed Hawks were also seen.
