Index of Subjects Had our first lovely male Purple Finch of the spring today. I think he is a 2nd year male from the amount of brown on him. He sat high up in the Ash trees singing as though he had never gone away. And this afternoon I sat out on the deck in the beautiful sunshine, and he was singing again. Not yet his full-fledged spring song, but pretty good! What a great day! Lois Codling L. Sackville
