Hi Everyone: Nick and I went out for a drive, found the following birds:=
=0A=0AAcross from the Purcell's cove social club-2 Double Breasted Cormoran=
ts=0AA whole bunch of Common Eiders (around 150 at one spot down the road =
from the social club and another 100 at Duncan Cove).=0AThe usual suspects-=
black ducks, Crows, Herring gulls, ring billed gulls, song sparrow at Dunca=
n Cove).=0A=0AThen we went back to Halifax/Dartmouth at Sullivan's pond whe=
re we had a very pleasant surprise-a flock of Cedar Waxwings, waiting for u=
s in a tree eating some berries. They even posed for us and we were able t=
o get some fabulous pictures which I posted at http://gallery.me.com/tumayo=
ung under the album waxwings. If you check out the American Crow under th=
e album Jays, Crows. I noted that it was eating another bird-well it was =
pecking at a foot of a bird. Hope someone can help identify it-very hard t=
o do just by looking at the feet-pinkish, with three "fingers" long black n=
ails.=0A=0AAt Sullivan's pond, there were Canada Geese, American and Eurasi=
an wigeons, Mallards, Black Ducks, Rock Doves, and the Domestic Geese are b=
ack from Hope for Wildlife.=0A=0ATuma and Nick=0A Koqwaqja'tekaq'tinej.=0A(=
