Here are a few 'first of the season' birds I heard while working on our =
land in Black River.
Red-eyed Vireo
Northern Parula
White throated sparrow
I also saw my first great blue heron of the spring standing in the =
Gaspereau River.
Of course, the chickadees, ruffed grouse, hermit thrush, song sparrows, =
and downy, hairy and pileated woodpecker are every present. It's a real =
treat to be mostly finished with the chainsaw for the moment and being =
able to hear the birds singing while I frame a shed.
