Hello all=2C
=20
    As I was driving east along Messenger Road in Torbrook Mines=2C Annapol=
is Co.=2C I noticed a large bird paralling me about 500m to the north=2C fl=
ying not too high above the trees. I first thought that it was a Great Blu=
e Heron=2C which was interesting enough to cause me to stop and check=2C as=
 there are no known rookeries in the area. To my surprise=2C through binoc=
ulars I saw the brown colour and long=2C thin=2C neck held straight out in =
front - a Sandhill Crane! It disappeared behind trees close to the Kings C=
o. line=2C as it was about to enter Tremont. I searched for it at a cranbe=
rry bog along the next road to the north and later at a large field between=
 the two roads=2C but had no luck. A bird that large is bound to re-appear=
 somewhere=2C so keep the eyes peeled in the Valley.

Cheers=2C
