5 Sept 2010, Eastern Shore, Obs: Blake Maybank, Nic Fieldsend

An amazing day along the Eastern Shore, starting at 0700 at Clam 
Harbour Beach, ending at Hartlen Point at 1600.   Highlights:

Petpeswick Inlet (0830-1100):
 From East Petpeswick Road: Sandwich Tern (3), Gull-billed Tern (1), 
Laughing Gull (1), Red Knot (4) Martinique Beach: Laughing Gull (1) 
Conrod's Beach: Great Egret (1), Laughing Gull (1)
Meisener's Lake (1130): Laughing Gull (1)

Lawrencetown River at Hwy 7 (1300): adult Lesser Black-backed Gull (1)

Rainbow Haven: numerous swallows, all Barn and Tree, with one Bank -- no Cave

Eastern Passage (1430-1600): Black Skimmer (thanks Mike King et al) 
(1), Royal Tern (1) (thanks Mike King, Al Mctavish, et al), Laughing Gull (6)

Hartlen Point: Laughing Gull (5)

Lots of shorebirds noted throughout, and many Northern Flickers on the move.
