Hello all=2C
=20
It was also a good day for us at Brier Island as my brother Larry Neily=
=2C his wife Antoinette=2C and I spent the day there. We got at least 19 L=
aughing Gulls at the cove in Westport=2C 13 of them juveniles=2C and anothe=
r 4-5 were seen following the boat on the B. I. Whale and Seabird cruise=2C=
although we initially passed them up as small Ring-billed Gulls. The crui=
se also produced one Great Skua=2C lots of puffins and Red Phalariopes=2C G=
reat Shearwaters=2C etc. A pale=2C fairly large tern that flew by could ha=
ve been a Royal=2C but we did not see it well enough for a posident. Larry=
and Antoinette also had a Buff-breasted Sandpiper at Pond Cove=2C but lan=
d migrants were generally scarce.

Cheers
