Just got back from McCormacks beach @ Fishermen's Cove.
The imm. Black Skimmer has now company of another imm. Black Skimmer.
Both were resting on the beach with their heads tucked in. Mantle coloration, long wing
projection and leg color made them easy to sort out, even before they briefly showed their
face.

Before heading out to the beach I spend the morning at PPP to get a few photos of the
Solitary Sandpipers. All three were there, feeding in the pond. However, eventually all three
took off, flying high up in the sky and then SW. I wouldn't be surprised if they moved on.......

Other birds around the pond: robins, lots of flickers and mourning doves, grackels, 3 orioles,
yellow warblers, and many more I couldn't ID in the rush.
