To George's interesting report below, I can add that I was very  
surprised about a week ago when checking shorebirds at Evangeline  
Beach canteen that I saw an osprey flying there, something we hardly  
ever see in coastal King's County (because of the muddy tidal  
water?).  I just assumed this was a migrating or dispersing
