Hi All=2C
I spoke recently to a ships captain who asked me to ID a bird that had b=
een chased onto his boat and actually into the ships cabin by a Peregrine F=
alcon. when I saw a photo=2C the bird turned out to be a Common Nighthawk.
What makes this interesting is it took place 10-15 kilometers off Eclipse=
Harbour near the northern tip of Labrador. The date was around July 22nd.=
=20
The Nighthawk recovered and eventually flew off unharmed.=20

A Peregrine chasing a Nighthawk into a ships cabin would be an interesti=
ng story if it happened in Nova Scotia=3B but off the coast of northern Lab=
rador=3B far north of the range of both birds makes it even more notable. A=
ll the best.
