Last night at 9.50pm while driving W. on the 103 from Halifax to St
Margarets Bay the entire night darkness was suddenly lit up by a
brilliant white light; looking upward out of my front windscreen I saw a
relatively large object with orange-yellow/ blue-green tones near its
head and a long, white intensely glowing tail streaking downwards in a
roughly NE-SW direction.

I have never seen anything quite so dramatic before. Anyone else see it
or know what it was? Space debris/ comet? asteroid?.....

Eleanor Lindsay
