SEPT. 17, 2010 - This afternoon our entourage at the feeders was
enhanced by a female or Imm. rose-breasted grosbeak (perhaps a young
male since the main wing-bar is very conspicuous), in addition to the
orange male cardinal (the orange rather than red is especially
apparent in the Sunless light of today's deep overcast), a juvenile
cardinal, several white-throated sparrows and song sparrows, mourning
doves, red-breasted nuthatch, 5+ chickadees, blue jays, crows, downy
woodpeckers, and ?

SEPT. 18, 2010 - The imm. male rose-breasted grosbeak was back at our
feeders in mid-morning, with the orange male cardinal, a juvenile
cardinal, a brown purple finch, etc.

Cheers from Jim in Wolfville
