The left leg had a yellow or light green band, and the right had a medium-dark green band with the number 438 written on it. The pigeon foraged on the sidewalk, not very warily, for a while and then flew away strongly across the street and out of sight. I hope that NSDNR or someone on NatureNS can supply the way to report this obviously owned pigeon? Wolfville Harbour at a half-hour after high tide: 17 greater yellowlegs (no lessers with them -- definite (super views) -- and a single spotted sandpiper was separate from the yellowlegs.
