This morning about 8:15, a group of 5 Black Skimmers flew into Rose Bay, Lun. Co., and
made a sortie over Sand Dollar Beach and the Conrad's Island causeway. They appeared to
be looking for somewhere to roost, but the tide was high and apparently they moved on. At
any rate I lost them in the fog and couldn't locate them later in the day. Clearly there are still
some left in the province that are trying to head home.

The rest in Queen's Co.: an adult Peregrine over Western Head and two crossing the shore
road just E of Brooklyn; a third year graellsii Lesser Black-backed Gull in the estuary at
Beach Meadows PP, and an adult and a third year at Eagle Head Beach. Still lots of
Laughing Gulls, notably in Liverpool (try McDonalds if only for gulls) and Moose Harbour.
