During the second week in August I was able to experience first hand the =
migration of sandpipers at Mary's Point. I believe the official counts =
for those days was anywhere from 15,000 to 100,000 sandpipers. This was =
a terrific photographic experience for me! Below are a few images from =
that week. A big thank you to David Christie for helping me out during =
my short stay.

Sandpipers at low tide

Mary's point, very low tide, more than =BD mile from shore, sandpipers =
are tiny specks even with a 10X long lens.
