Kwe Msit Wen
(Greetings All)

I am looking for another English common name for the "Striped Woodpecker."
The old Mi'kmaq reader that I am using to find Mi'kmaq names refers to a
"Striped Woodpecker." I have checked McAtee "Folks Names of Canadian Birds"-no
mention of a "Striped Woodpecker" in it. What are your thoughts on which bird
this may refer to.

Wela'lin (Thank You)
