St Croix Pond, about 9:30 am
2 Black Ducks and a single Pied-billed Grebe. PB Grebes have been seen =
here consistently since late April.

Windsor Sewage Lagoons, 10 am (high tide 11:15)
23 GBB Gulls; mixed flock of about 280 Herring Gulls and Ring-billed =
Gulls;
110 + Black Ducks; 7 Mallard;
6 Green Winged Teal; 7 American Wigeon;36 Rock Pigeons; 17 Goldfinch

Ben Jackson Road pond
2 Black Ducks. The alarms of crows alerted me as a Northern Harrier flew =
slowly over.
In a corner of the pond were a handful of small black POLYWOGS - no legs =
or other signs of development. Isn't this awful late to be at that stage =
of development?

Lockhartville pond at 101 interchange
4 Mallard
Lots of dragonflies and song sparrows.

John Belbin
