This morning around 8:15 I saw both Barn (about 20) and Cliff Swallows
(8) flying around a very sunny headland near the town of Donkin (north
west of Schooner Pond). I checked the Cliffs, but could not find a Cave
among them.

Between Schooner Pond and the Donkin mine site there was a Northern
Goshawk, Orange-crowned Warbler and a Fox Sparrow.
On the upper pond were three Pied-billed Grebes.
