After describing my mystery vireo to Fulton, he thought that it was one of the 
solitary ones.  I mentioned the significant eye ring and the size (a large 
sparrow) and he mentioned that the Bell's Vireo is small, almost the size of a 
Orange Crowned Warbler.  Since the ID is not confirmatory, just a suspicion that 
it was a Cassin or a Blue-headed Vireo-still it would have been a lifer but I 
did not get an good enough look at it or a photo.
