Salt Marsh Trail, Cole Harbour

Cole Harbour was very quite today. However, there were 10 - 15 Great =
Blue Herons roosting in the trees on the north side of the trail just =
before the first bridge and another 6 or 7 on the south side by the far =
shore. There was also a nice juvenile Peregrine Falcon perched on top =
of a dead tree at the tip of =E2=80=9CFly Point=E2=80=9D near the third =
bridge. He was not disturbed at all by the walkers on the trail. =
Pictures of these birds have been added to my gallery at =
