Stella & I watched the Bell's Vireo for a lengthy period this morning (8:30-!0:00) along with a birder from Ottawa. The bird was quite active and although I did not get any quality photos, it was in view for 30+ mins. The Chat was in the open quite a bit of the time too & would have been easy to photograph except for our attempts for a good Vireo pic. As for the Pleasant Hill site, it remains a mystery to me why it is basically birdless at times and full of birds at others!! Angus
