Hi All=20
=20
For those looking to see the ATFC.

I should give the "proper" area name for this bird. The Canso Sports Comple=
x. (where the Stan Rogers Folk Festival takes place) at the end of "Queen S=
t.". The Stan Fest Office is on the right and when you enter their parking =
lot there's a crab apple tree on the right. this spot is a great catch basi=
n for almost anything. The side of the hill is sheltered from the west thro=
ugh to NE winds while receiving full sun along the edge of the spruce with =
lots of insects. There seems to be thoughts of removing the tree/shrubs to =
enlarge the parking lot.=20

I tend to have the best luck most times staying in my car and phissing by t=
he tree. when the flock of Chickadees arrive it draws in the other goodies =
that may be near by.

It's been several weeks since I've poked around the sports complex and fest=
ival site. One never knows what else may be there. on the opposite side of =
the same parking lot is where I saw the Baird's Sparrow earlier this fall. =
about the last time I had a chance to dig around the area. I last seen the =
2 Cattle Egrets on the Soccer field 2 days ago but they may be in one of th=
e back fields. I could get as close as 4-5' from them the last time I photo=
graphed them.

I'm going out of town in the morning but should be back by early afternoon =
and will take a look around before I leave.

Don't forget to check the hill around my place for the bird I'm only about =
250-300m away from this spot and often get the same birds near my place whe=
n they start making their rounds.
