Subject: Great Egret

I failed to find the Ash-throated Flycatcher today at Canso. I did find a dozen Bohemian Waxwings at the cemetery and Ken McKenna and I spotted another twenty flying overhead about four kilometres north of town.

The highlight was a Great Egret in the pond beside highway #16 at Queensport. I saw it on the way to Canso and on the way back. It posed politely both times, which is not a good sign.
