  Hi Macklin,=20

I sent you the google map under separate cover direct from google =
maps. Here it is again. =20

Follow the directions to route #311 and proceed north towards North =
River and you'll see a large gravel pit on the left side of the road. =
Hopefully it will be closed since activity here will flush the birds off =
the water. If you get to North River itself you've gone too far. Check =
the field of corn stubble beside the gravel pit.

Look for other birders and copy every posting on: =
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NS-RBA/messages Use the search function =
for "Greylag Goose". Get a Nova Scotia Road Atlas not a folding road =
map and you should be OK.

Phone me at 902-868-1862 if you have problems or e-mail this address. =
My wife and I may go out there on Sunday. Tomorrow I'm looking for a =
Seaside Sparrow in a different location.

  Hans

    Hi Hans,=20

Thanks for your encouragement and for the link. Seems like Richard =
Stern did photograph the goose today...but I was on my way anyhow. =
Seemsike the gravel pit is a key place to start looking in the AM, but =
google maps recognizes none of the locale roads, Can you give =
directions?

    Again thanks,

    Macklin

      Hi Macklin,

I haven't heard any reports from today though I doubt the bird =
would leave this early. If any reports come in you'll see them on =

The weather has improved to sunshine and wind but the goose did =
not leave. The wind is abating so the weekend weather looks excellent.

        Hello Hans,

Please forgive the intrusion. I saw you just posted on a =
Baltimore Oriole and know you have posted on the goose. I have been =
