Hi all:

Last night as I drove along quite near the turn off to Feltzen south a larg=
e owl flew across in front of the car.  I believe on the basis of habitat t=
hat it was a great horned owl. =20

Yesterday morning at Back Centre=2C I should have had my camera for video r=
ecording.  Two herring gulls had a 15 foot strip of sinew.  One gull was on=
 either side and there was a massive tug of war going on.  This was fascina=
ting to watch.  Maybe it was intestine.  I'm not sure=2C it was a long stri=
p of white offal. =20
