Also, before I got the feeders out, there were several juncos and several white- throated sparrows. I also saw 4+ chickadees and heard a couple of goldfinches, but I didn't see any blue jays nor mourning doves this morning despite several looks. Also present yesterday was a whitish single rock pigeon. NOV. 27, 2010 - In Canning in the Habitant River, I saw 4+3 female or imm. hooded mergansers (family?), 1 f/imm Am. wigeon, 15+ Am. black ducks, and 60 mallards (males and females in about equal numbers of mallards).
